Roxbury Design & Build was founded on the belief that the gap between a designer’s vision and a contractor’s execution shouldn’t exist. Laura & Robin built a firm around closing that gap.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Most renovation budgets fail not because the contractor was careless, but because no one was keeping honest score. Laura built and sold a sixteen-year accounting practice before turning her financial precision to real estate and construction, which means when Roxbury commits to a number, it is not a contractor's optimistic estimate. It is a CPA's guarantee.
She brings the same discipline to every creative decision: a deep belief that beautiful outcomes and financial integrity are not in tension, and a talent for making the two feel inevitable.
Robin grew up building. His family company completed over a hundred homes a year, which means by the time he arrived in California, he had seen every way a build can go wrong, and had developed an instinct for preventing it.
Twenty years in residential construction have given him something most contractors lack: a genuine love of design, and the craft knowledge to execute it faithfully. He is the person on your job site who notices when something isn't right before it becomes a problem, and knows exactly how to make it right.

Robin Schneider
The name comes from a home. Robin spent his early years building hundreds of houses alongside his father in Lexington, Kentucky, including the plan that outsold every other one they offered, because it was the one buyers could tell someone had actually thought through. We named this company after it, and we still build to that standard.
